International Maple Grading School

Educators from the University of Maine Extension and the University of Vermont Extension are offering this two-day school in conjunction with the 2026 North American Maple Syrup Council (NAMSC) Conference. This school is designed for maple producers, bulk syrup buyers, state inspectors, and contest judges. The program combines maple grading science with hands-on training. Participants will gain the skills to accurately grade syrup, evaluate quality, and organize contests and judge maple products. $150 program fee; only 25 spots available. Registration includes lunch for both days (Oct 19 & 20), take-home grading tools, print resources, and two days of lectures and hands-on learning.
