Managed by the Sault Ste. Marie Innovation Centre and located at Harvest Algoma, the RAIN Incubator Kitchen is a fully equipped, health-inspected commercial kitchen designed to help food entrepreneurs, caterers, bakers, and startups grow their businesses.

The facility supports a range of food ventures—from new product development to scaling existing operations, with professional-grade equipment, flexible rental options, and access to business support services through the Innovation Centre.

How To Get Started?

1. Have a food business idea but not a product yet?

  • Connect with us to refine your concept, explore funding, and plan next steps before entering production. Email us at info@rainalgoma.ca.

Already have a food product or business?

2. Submit an Inquiry on Food Corridor

  • Upload your required documents and select your preferred rental plan.

3. Complete Orientation

  • Attend a mandatory session to review kitchen safety, sanitation, and equipment operation.

4. Schedule Health Inspection

  • Coordinate with Algoma Public Health (705-942-4646) before your first production date.

5. Book Kitchen Time

  • Once approved, book your workspace and start producing through The Food Corridor platform.
