Dr. Tarlok Sahota will be attending the upcoming Field Day to speak about his research trials with galega, a new forage import from Eastern Europe. Sebastian Belliard, OMAFRA Soil Health Specialist

Sebastian will discuss soil texture, drainage and degradation of the soil (compaction, erosion).

 

Dr. Tarlok Sahota CCA, Director of Research with Thunder Bay Agriculture Research Station

Dr. Sahota will discuss research trials with galega, a flowering legume forage variety and will provide highlights from TBARS’ recent summer tour in Thunder Bay.

 

Mikala Parr, RAIN Research Technician

Mikala will share some preliminary results from RAIN’s Economics of Sulphur Fertilization Project.
