Rural Agri-Innovation Network (RAIN) Local Food Survey
Increasing access to local food in Sault Ste. Marie
As local food becomes increasingly popular, with more people demanding locally-grown in grocery stores, farmers markets and restaurants, the Rural Agri-Innovation Network (RAIN) and Buy Algoma. Buy Fresh. seek to increase access to locally produced goods in our region.
With producer input, RAIN has designed a survey specifically for consumers that will help food producers better understand the current purchasing trends and barriers to sourcing local food. Results from the survey will reveal how RAIN and Sault Ste. Marie can move forward in creating a thriving local food system.
If you want to contribute to Sault Ste. Marie’s local food movement fill out this brief survey online, here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/algomafood
Don’t forget, sharing is caring! Pass on the survey, because everyone loves to eat good food.
